Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

At Anderson Hunter we understand the nature of PTSD and how it can prevent you from being able to work on a full-time, regular basis. We know that every case is unique. If you hire us, we will immediately meet with you to learn more about you and how your PTSD impacts you, so we can better strategize to win your case.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can be disabling.

Stressors can come from many traumatic events such as combat or time spent in service, childhood abuse, domestic violence, or witnessing a crime or violence. The effects of a stressor may not even be immediate. However, over time you find you are struggling to work or keep a job because you do not feel safe in certain places. You may feel detached from the people around you or distrustful of them. You may find you cannot control your anger and the way you react to certain things.

If you feel you are unable to work because you have PTSD, you may be eligible for benefits through Social Security.
